Bay Lake Tower is located within walking distance of the Magic Kingdom at Disney World in Orlando. Vacation Club properties include a studio apartment which sleeps four, or one-, two- or three-bedroom villas with full kitchens and multiple bathrooms. Owners of these properties have access to the sandy beach on Bay Lake, and the multiple swimming pools at the Contemporary Resort. Owners can also use the Olympiad Fitness Center for free. There are three restaurants and a café at the Contemporary Resort, including the California Grille, which consistently rated as one of the best Disney restaurants by resort guests.
Disney's Animal Kingdom Villas are located near the Animal Kingdom park in Orlando; in fact, most villas offer views of the African savannas of the park from the balcony. The resort is divided into two complexes: Jambo House and Kidani Village. Like Bay Lake Towers, there are studios and one-, two- and three-bedroom villas available and owners have access to pools and fitness centers. Animal Kingdom Villa owners have access to a variety of educational and recreational activities, including feeding the flamingos, viewing animals at night and special cultural presentations. There are four restaurants in the Animal Kingdom Villas resort--three African themed, and one serving American food.
Based on the Arts and Crafts style of architecture from the early 1900s, The Villas at Disney's Grand Californian Hotel and Spa, in Anaheim, California, offers owners views of Disney's California Adventure theme park. In fact, owners at this vacation club property have their own designated entrance to the park they can use with theme park admission. Studios at the Grand Californian have a kitchenette and sleep four, while the one-, two- and three-bedroom villas feature full kitchens, washers and dryers and multiple full baths. Owners have access to several pools and a fitness center, as well as members-only special events and activities at nearby shops.
Scheduled to open in the fall of 2011, the Aulani Disney Vacation Club Villas, in Ko Olina, Hawaii are Disney's only non-theme park Vacation Club property. The resort is located on a sandy beach overlooking a sheltered lagoon. Most of the villas have ocean views. The studio villa sleeps four, with a queen-sized bed and sleeper sofa, and has a small kitchen area with a microwave and refrigerator. The one-, two- and three-bedroom villas feature full kitchens and washer and dryer units; the Grand Villa, which sleeps up to 12 people, has a full dining room as well. The resort has several pool and swimming areas, as well as a kids' club with activities and a full service spa.
