Indian reservations are considered scared tribal land as outlined by the tribe associated with the area and the grounds. Those not affiliated with the tribe who wish to spend time on an Indian reservation can opt to stay at a hotel that is open to the public. The hotel located on site, which is part of the reservation, is known as the Grand Pequot Tower.     Chumash Casino Resort

    • In California, the Santa Ynez Band of Chumash Indians both owns and operates the full service Chumash Casino Resort. The casino portion of the property is a large gaming facility that provides both gambling and live entertainment for guests. Directly attached to the casino is the resort section of the compound. The resort has consistently received an AAA four-diamond rating based on the services provided to guests staying at the hotel. A total of 107 rooms plus an additional 17 suites are available at the hotel.     Black Bear Casino Resort

    • The Fond du Lac Band of Lake Superior Chippewa, a Minnesota based tribe, operates the Black Bear Casino Resort. The lodging portion of the complex is simply known as The Tower and houses a total of 250 rooms. Every room comes standard with features including wall-mounted color televisions, private bathrooms, views of the property and high speed Internet access. Additional highlights of the hotel include an outdoor swimming pool, arcade, delicatessen, full service restaurant and gift shop. The hotel is attached to the gaming area and guests can easily move between the hotel facility and casino. The casino is open 24 hours a day and features an assortment of table and machine games.
