Whether you prefer filet mignon, New York Strip or center-cut tenderloin, Benihana will pair your selection with grilled mushrooms, hibachi vegetables, shrimp, fried rice, soup and salad. For none red meat eaters, Benihana offers a wide range of spiced chicken, seafood and vegetarian options. There is also a full sushi menu.     • Located in Seattle's colorful International District, Mikkado Teppanyaki specializes in preparing fine steaks and sushi prepared in the flamboyant Teppanyaki tradition. Like most Japanese steakhouses, Mikado offers chicken and vegetarian options in addition to a wide range of steaks. Mikado also offers 40 types of sushi and sashimi at its sushi bar. Entree prices range from around $15 to $25, as of September 2010.

    • If you're interested in Japanese cuisine that's a bit off of the beaten path you may be interested in trying Gamba's Japanese & French Restaurant. Gamba's fuses old world Japanese flair with French-inspired recipes and sauces at a surprisingly reasonable price. Gamba's features steak teriyaki and rib-eye teak, along with several other meat and seafood dishes. Gamba's is located in downtown Seattle and you can expect to pay about $15 to $20 per entree, as of September 2010.
