The Beast is the largest haunted house in America and features an open format that allows visitors to wander through the scenes at their own pace. The average visitor takes 40 minutes to walk through The Beast's exhibits, and then exits the house by sliding down a three-story slide. Outside, visitors must find their way out of the quarter-acre Werewolf Forest in the dark. To make escape more difficult, the forest harbors a deranged pirate, a man-eating lion and alligators. The Beast is not recommended for children under 10, and children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult.
