Free Parking Near the Kansas City Airport

Most parking near the Kansas City International Airport is paid parking only. One way to get around this, if you are going to be flying frequently, is to sign up for their Frequent Parker Program. Any other way you try to park for free could end up getting your car towed.
  1. Short- and Long-term Lots

    • There are several lots available in close proximity to the airport. You can park in the airport garage, short or long term, with a daily maximum charge of $20. You could choose Circle Parking, which has a maximum charge of $13 daily, or valet parking with a charge of $7 daily. These can all be used for short-term parking as well. All prices are as of October 2010.

    Long-term Lots

    • As of October 2010, the Economy Lot is a long-term parking-only lot with a $6 flat daily rate. It is quite far from the airport. The buses circle the area every 15 minutes during the day and every 25 minutes overnight.

    Frequent Parker Program

    • If you join the Frequent Parker Program, you get a punch in your card for every 24 hours your car remains in the lot. When you collect enough punches, you acquire a certain amount of free parking. You also can park closer to the airport. There is no fee to join this program. Contact the airport to join.
