The Tennessee Department of Environment and Conservation boasts 20 state parks which offer cabins for rent to vacationers. Cabins available include between one and three bedrooms, and all have grills. Not all cabins include air conditioning, phone service or television. While some cabins may be available year-round, most operate under the Tennessee State Parks operating schedule.

Kicking Back Cabin provides over 1,800 sq feet of fully furnished living area. Located in Jamestown, this cabin borders the Big South Fork National River and Recreation Area. The cabin houses three bedrooms, two full baths, a whirlpool tub, gas fireplace and grill and satellite television. A stable area is provided for those seeking to bring along horses.

Cabins have between one and five bedrooms and include outdoor hot tubs, indoor whirlpools, decks and patios with grills and color television with cable or satellite service.
