Students at Berry College in Rome, Georgia, run these guest cottages as part of their business curriculum and student work program. This 561-acre state park, surrounded by the Chattahoochee National Forest, has four cottages for rent, one of which is dog-friendly. Each cottage has two bedrooms and a full bath, a fully equipped kitchen with a microwave, a fireplace, TV, heating and air conditioning, and front and back porches with rocking chairs. Advance reservations are required. The park has two lakes, pedal boot rentals, trails, boat ramps and a playground.

Situated on Lookout Mountain, each individual cabin comes with towels, toiletries, bedding and other amenities. The cabins, which are close to Summerville, have valley and mountain views. Pets are permitted in some cabins for an additional fee, and cabins with whirlpools are available. Cabins vary in size and cost, but all have color TV, complete kitchens, air conditioning, and DVDs players or VCRs.
