If you want to park for awhile and experience both the Prescott and Yavapai County fairs, you can stay at the full-hookup sites at the Yavapai County Fairgrounds RV Park, 18 miles northeast of Prescott. This RV park offers weekly and monthly rates, and telephone and cable TV hookups are available. The Internet is also available at some sites. Amenities include propane for sale and a separate stable facility for horses.

Pine Lawn Ranch is a combination RV park and mobile home park, three-fourths of a mile from downtown Prescott. The ranch is restricted to residents aged 55 and older, though the restriction does not apply to RV travelers who stay overnight or for up to a week. The spaces are shaded, the streets paved and RVers can take advantage of monthly and seasonal rates.

The Cactus Mobile Ranch is another combination RV and mobile home park, located one mile east of downtown Prescott. It offers mobile home spaces, permanent RV spots and a view of the city. RV spots come with optional cable TV hookups. The six-acre park is open to all ages, but according to its website, most residents are seniors. You'll find both landscaped grounds and full-grown trees here.

Pine Lakes is an 55-and-older mobile home park in a forest setting. You can buy a mobile home here but, as with most such mobile home parks, you only rent the land. Home sales are organized through the on-site sales office and the RV park focuses on building a community atmosphere, with get-togethers, a newsletter and special events. You'll find a clubhouse here, along with a pool, spa, games, library, fishing lakes and trails on the park's 65 acres.
