Located right in Fernley, the Desert Rose RV Park blends a Southwestern-flavored locale, boasting desert landscapes, with the convenience of a modern RV facility. The park offers both 30- and 50-amp sites, as well as sewer and water. Cable television and phone services is available at each site. Other amenities include bathrooms and showers, a separate dog area for pet exercising, a convenience store as well as copy, fax and mail service. Desert Rose is adjacent to the Golf Club of Fernley. As of 2010, reservations are not required to stay at the park.

Located west of Fernley, in nearby Sparks, Nevada, is the Sparks Marina RV Park. A wonderfully landscaped park with a solid network of roadways--sites are paved and level--the park offers a range of rates, including back-in and pull through rates, as well as weekly and monthly rates. However, only RVs that are ten years old or newer can be accommodated at the park. Amenities include wireless Internet access, cable television access, a pool, pet runs (for pet exercising) and picnic areas.
