Whether you buy your own spot or just vacation there, you can participate in any of the resort's activities, such as water aerobics, poker nights, church services, bingo and pancake breakfasts. Arbor Terrace is close to Anna Maria Island, and has its own heated swimming pool and shuffleboard courts. All RV sites come with full water, electricity and sewer connections. Pleasant Lake RV Resort is located next to a 25-acre lake, and has a deck, clubhouse, heated swimming pool and fishing on site. Other activities include bocce ball, horseshoes, shuffleboard, pot luck dinners and coffee socials. Wireless internet access, cable TV and laundry facilities are available. The park is located close to the South Florida Museum, Manatee Village Historical Park, the Bishop Planetarium and McKechnie Field. It is open year-round and has daily, weekly, monthly and annual rates. Pleasant Lake also has rentals, along with RVs and homes for sale.

Sarasota Bay RV Park is a community for people aged 55 years or older. The park is located within one mile of area beaches, and close to several private and public golf courses. Sarasota Bay has its own boat ramp, heated pool and spa, exercise room, waterside gazebo, recreation hall and picnic areas. Laundry, shower and bath facilities are available, as well as LP gas and a dump station, along with fishing dock access. All 240 RV sites have water, sewer, and 30- and 50-amp electrical hook-ups. The resort offers daily, weekly, monthly and seasonal rates. Rates can include water, sewer, garbage and electric hookups, or electricity only.
