Park roads leading to the large pull-through sites are paved and lighted. Amenities at the Tallahassee RV Park include a recreation room with cable TV and Internet access, an outdoor pool with lounge chairs, restrooms and showers. The park also has a laundry facility, a horseshoe pit and an organized book exchange. A grocery store and golf course are located within a quarter of a mile from the park, and a restaurant is approximately a half-mile away. The campground allows pets.

    • The Tallahassee East/Monticello KOA is approximately 20 minutes east of Tallahassee. Campers have the option of staying in RV sites, in tents or in one-room "Kabins.'' A lodge, which is ideal for groups, is also available. The RV sites can handle rigs as long as 100 feet and have 50-amp electrical connections. A telephone hookup is available for a fee, and modem data ports, firewood and wireless Internet service are free. The KOA has a swimming pool that is open from the start of April until the end of September. On-site fishing is available in the campground's lake, which is surrounded by a nature trail. Free cakes and cookies are presented to guests when they arrive, and a free breakfast is served each day.
