RV Parks in Gallop, AZ

Gallup, New Mexico, is located along historic Route 66, just outside of Arizona. This town has a rich Native American history and is known for its Native American art, specifically work featuring the Navajo Nation. Visitors can enjoy hiking, mountain biking, rock climbing or just take in the scenic landscape. If you're traveling by RV, Gallup is home to a few parks that can accommodate your "home away from home."
  1. USA RV Park

    • USA RV Park is located 1 mile east of Route 66. This park offers daily, weekly and monthly rates for campers with water, electric, sewer and cable hook-ups. There's a gift shop and convenience store on the premises where you can buy anything you may have forgotten at home. There's also a coin-operated laundry facility on-site. Guests can spend time in the heated outdoor pool, playground, computer facility with free Wi-Fi, dog walk and putting green, or play pool in the game room.

      All active duty military personnel stay free with ID. Discounts are also offered to veterans along with AAA, Good Sam, AARP and Escapees members.

      There are several national and tribal parks nearby, including Mesa Verde, El Morro, Window Rock, Zuni, Four Corners, Monument Valley and Painted Desert Park.

    Gallup KOA

    • There's a KOA camping ground located right off Route 66. The Gallup RV park offers 30- and 50-amp hook-ups. Each site has sewer and water hook-ups, along with a picnic table and grill.

      The laundry room is open 24 hours a day and there is a pay phone on-site. Cable TV and Wi-Fi connections are free to all guests. There's an indoor pool and jacuzzi that's open year round, along with a game room and playground. If you're looking to host an event while camping, you can reserve the pavilion and Kamping Kitchen.

      Make reservations online five months prior to your trip. Guests looking to explore may be interested in checking out the nearby attractions, including the Red Rock State Park or the Gallup Cultural Center. This center is home to a movie theater, museum, bookstore and gift shop.

    Red Rock State Park

    • Red Rock State Park is located off exit 33 along Interstate 40 in Church Rock, which is 9 miles east of Gallup. There are a limited number of RV sites at Red Rock, all of which include 50-amp electrical and water hook-ups. This campground does not have extra amenities like Wi-Fi, cable TV or a pay phone.

      Make reservations ahead of time by phone. Pets are allowed, but you should call in advance to learn more about the park's pet policy.
