Beachfront RV Parks in Florida

Playing host to numerous lakes and rivers, and situated around multiple bodies of water including the Atlantic Ocean and the Gulf of Mexico, Florida features numerous beachfront RV parks. Although rates vary based on location, as of summer 2010, Florida beachfront RV parks typically charge around $45 a night during the peak summer season. Some RV parks charge higher rates for waterfront campsites, anywhere from $65 to $75 daily.

    • Situated in northeastern Florida, the North Beach Camp Resort resides along the shores of the Atlantic Ocean and is just a short distance from the North River, where guests can go boating or fishing. The resort offers such additional outdoor activities as basketball, shuffleboard and horseshoes. The campground provides RV sites complete with full hook-ups, as well as cabin rentals and tent sites. A library, game room, TV lounge and playground are available on the premises. The resort features an on-site eatery, Aunt Kate's Restaurant, while the Reef Restaurant sits right next door.

    Emerald Beach RV Park

    • Emerald Beach RV Park resides in the northwestern panhandle town of Navarre, Florida, along the Santa Rosa Sound. The park offers 76 camping sites, each of which comes outfitted with electricity, sewer, cable and water hook-ups, as well as Wi-Fi access, picnic tables and a patio area. The campground boasts its own private white sand beach equipped with beach chairs and tropical tiki umbrellas. Guests can also take advantage of the campground’s swimming pool and kayak rentals. Additional amenities include bathhouses, a propane filling station, and a laundry room.

    Turtle Beach Campground

    • Located on Siesta Key in southwestern Florida, Turtle Beach Campground features 40 sites for RV and tent camping, complete with full hook-ups. Guests have access to laundry facilities, hot showers and restrooms. Spread across 14 acres of land, including beachfront property, the campsite offers areas for picnicking and grilling. The park’s lagoon, outfitted with a boat launch, provides excellent conditions for kayaking and boating. Other on-site recreational activities include a fishing pier, a sand-filled volleyball court and a children’s playground.
