RV Parks in Alva, Oklahoma

Alva is a rural town of around 5,000 people in northwestern Oklahoma 85 miles southwest of Wichita, Kansas. Alva, which was established in 1893, and the surrounding area is home to Northwestern Oklahoma State University, Hatfield Park, restaurants, RV parks and cultural sites. The Cherokee Strip Museum in central Alva features Cherokee artifacts from the area.

    Sand City Campground

    • Sand City Campground is 27 miles northwest of Alva in Waynoka, Oklahoma. Sand City Campground offers several large RV sites with water, electricity and sewer services. Two cabins are also available for rent. Guests can drive into town for propane, laundry, groceries and other supplies. Nearby attractions include Little Sahara State Park and Avard Lake for swimming, fishing and other outdoor recreation.

    Deuces Wild RV & Campground

    • Deuces Wild RV & Campground is located in nearby Waynoka. This park has 19 pull-through and back-in RV sites on 13 acres of land with shade trees. Camp amenities include water, sewer, electricity, a dump station and on-site management. A trail to town is also available for 24-hour use. Guests may camp in tents or rent a trailer or cabin.
