A big attraction at the Gulf Air RV Resort in the southwestern part of the state is the trolley service that stops in front of the park. It takes campers to Gulf Coast beaches located about two miles away. The Navarre Beach Campground is located on a private beach along Santa Rosa Sound in the northwestern part of the state on the Florida Panhandle. The beaches of the Gulf of Mexico are five minutes away from the campground, which has 135 full hook-up RV sites. The sites, 50 of which are pull-throughs, have up to 50-amp electrical connections and come with cable TV, patios and picnic tables. Located on the bay and a short drive from the Gulf of Mexico, the Sarasota Bay RV Park features amenities such as a heated pool and spa, shower facility, restrooms, laundry facility, recreation hall, exercise room and shuffleboard court. The park, which is in Bradenton located just south of the Tampa area in Central Florida, has a gazebo, fishing dock and boat ramp along the bay-side portion of its property. A dump station, propane-filling station and picnic areas are also on the grounds. The RV sites at this 55-and-over park come with water, sewer and either 30- or 50-amp electric connections. Various events are held at the park, including exercise classes, line dancing, bingo nights, potluck dinners and shuffleboard tournaments.
