RV Parks in White Mountains, Arizona

Along the eastern border of Arizona, the White Mountains offer an abundance of recreational activities for visitors. Mountain lakes and streams dot the area, making fishing plentiful. Snowfall is sufficient most years for winter activities, such as snowmobiling and cross-country and downhill skiing. The White Mountains lie 220 miles east of Phoenix and 250 miles north of Tuscon, along the Arizona/New Mexico border.
  1. Hon-Dah Resort Casino

    • The Hon-Dah Resort Casino is home to the Hon-Dah RV Park, operated by the White Mountain Apache Tribe. With 258 sites, Hon-Dah RV Park is one of the larger parks in the area. Guests will find full hookups, including electric, satellite TV, free wireless Internet, and telephone. The park includes a laundry facility and handicap-accessible restrooms and showers. RV supplies, propane and a dump station are all available on-site. The Hon-Dah RV Park is open year-round.

    Sunrise Park Resort

    • Sunrise Park Resort is one of the most popular destinations in the White Mountains, with skiing, mountain biking, horseback riding and a host of other activities. Two different camping options are available at Sunrise, both found at the entrance to the resort. The Sunrise RV Park offers 20 RV spaces with 30-amp electric hookup. Sites do not include water hookups. Operated by the resort, Sunrise RV Park is open year-round. The Sunrise General Store is across the street from the RV Park for the convenience of guests.

      The Sunrise Campground, operated by the White Mountain Apache Game and Fish Department, is a primitive campground, with no hookups. The campground has 200 sites that can accommodate all types of camping gear, from tents to large motor homes. Fire pits and picnic tables are found at most sites. Modern bathrooms and showers are not available, however portable toilets and water are found throughout the campground.

    Mountain Aire RV Park

    • Mountain Aire RV Park is a seasonal park, open from May to October. Thirty-two sites accommodate units up to 34 feet long, with electric, water, sewer and garbage pickup included. Showers are available for an added feel. On-site facilities include a recreation room, complete with pool table, cards, and kitchen facilities. Guests can also enjoy a community fire pit, picnic table and horseshoe pit. Classes are offered in the park in season, and community cookouts are held frequently. Mountain Aire offers daily, weekly, monthly and seasonal rates.

    K-Bar RV Resort

    • The K-Bar RV Resort is wooded with tall pines and oak trees, featuring 90 spaces with full hook-ups, including 50-amp electric, water and sewer. Cable TV and telephone are also available at each site. Some sites receive wireless Internet, which can also be accessed in the resort's library and game room. Amenities include restrooms and showers. Guests are welcome at the park's planned activities, such as bingo, live entertainment and pot luck meals. Rates are available for daily, weekly, monthly, seasonal or annual guests.
