Lonely Oaks Campground is situated near Bateman Lake and has a number of sites available for RV travelers. Lonely Oaks is an ideal location for outdoors enthusiasts as the campground offers both fishing and swimming in the nearby Bateman Lake, Oak Bayou and North Beach. Generally, the month of October is the driest time of the year for Morgan City, while the month of August is the wettest.
