Why do people think Alaskans live in igoos?

The premise that people assume Alaskans live in igloos is not accurate. Igloos are traditionally used by Inuit people residing in the Arctic region, including certain parts of Canada and Greenland, as temporary winter dwellings. Most Alaskans live in modern houses, towns, or cities and don't reside in igloos.
