When are headlights required in Illinois?

According to Illinois law, headlights must be used:

- From sunset to sunrise.

- When driving in fog, smoke, or any other conditions that reduce visibility to 500 feet or less.

- When the windshield wipers are in use.

- When driving on any non-interstate expressway, road or highway.
