Can you carry a handgun in state park Tennessee?

Tennessee State Parks:

- Firearms are prohibited in state parks and natural areas. However, persons with valid concealed carry permits may carry handguns in state parks and natural areas, except in the following locations:

- Within 100 feet of any designated swimming area, playground, or picnic area.

- Inside any state park or natural area building or facility, except as may be authorized by the park manager or the commissioner.

- While engaged in hunting or target shooting.

- Carrying a loaded firearm in a state park or natural area is prohibited.
