- White diamond centered on the flag with its two upper corners extending to the edge of the flag.
- Inside the diamond, a smaller diamond consisting of four blue stars arranged one above the other and a fourth below and a little to the left.
- Above the stars, a red scroll on which are the words "Ark." and below them a similar scroll with the words "1861" (the date of Arkansas's statehood).
