Large River Front Cabins in Georgia

Northern Georgia, home to the Appalachian Mountains and the Chattahoochee National Forest, is a welcome wilderness retreat for vacationers. Only about a 60- to 90-minute drive from Atlanta, the northern area is ripe with outdoor activities like hiking, fishing and boating.     • The Hiawassee River Cabins are located along a private stretch of the Hiawassee River in Towns County, Georgia. Six river front cabins make up the property. Each one is secluded and each has river and mountain views. These cabins sleep from eight to 10 people. Amenities include fire places, fully equipped kitchens and satellite televisions. The larger properties also include game rooms and hot tubs.

      Within the community, guests have access to a pool and fitness center. In the surrounding areas, guests can find waterfalls, rhododendron gardens, gold panning and whitewater rafting.
