The North Georgia Mountains start in the northeast corner of Georgia. The mountains in this area are a part of the 1-billion- year-old Blue Ridge Mountain chain. These mountains are the oldest mountains in the United States.

The cabins on Lookout Mountain in northwest Georgia feature porches, fireplaces, picnic tables and whirlpool bath tubs. The cabins themselves are fully furnished log cabins with items like bed linen and toiletries readily available. The log cabins can house up to six guests with cabins available for couples. Nearby attractions include Ruby Falls, the Incline Railway and Rock City.
