Hungarian Rhapsody is a full restaurant with long lunch and dinner menus featuring classic Hungarian dishes made of veal, pork, chicken and seafood, as well as some continental dishes. The prices are moderate (ranging from $8 to $15 an entrée in 2010), the restaurant offers catering and rents the space out for banquets.

The center holds dinners on Fridays, and sometimes on Saturdays and Sundays, depending on the season (call ahead). The center also holds annual events as well, including a pig roast that is worth checking out. The food is cheap and fantastic; the center earned Best Hungarian honors in the Metro Times.

If you want to cut to the chase and have dessert as your main course, visit the Hungarian Strudel Shop. The Strudel Shop offers mostly sweet varieties with some savory options at reasonable prices. Call ahead for hours as the schedule is less than set.
