A family-owned and operated establishment, the Tavern on the Main opened in 1999. The casual restaurant features several plasma televisions, which show live sporting events. Eight appetizers lead the menu, such as the fried calamari rings, miniature tacos and mozzarella cheese sticks. A signature dish, the Tavern salad consists of Romaine hearts, grilled chicken and tomato wedges served alongside pita bread. Two other salads and five hamburgers are on the menu.
