  1. Great Northern Bike Rally

    • The Great Northern Bike Rally is an annual event held in the town of Crandon. Usually taking place over a weekend during the third week of June, the rally donates a percentage of proceeds to the American Red Cross. Event highlights include street dancing and live rock bands. During the 2010 event, games included a $3,000 poker run as well as a treasure hunt, with first prize taking $1,000, and a raffle for a Harley Street Bob. The event also includes a motorcycle parade and Sunday blessing of the bikes.

    Chopper Fest

    • Chopper Fest is an annual charity event currently held at the Broken Spoke Saloon & Campground in the town of Earl. Usually held in early June and lasting a weekend, the festival donates a percentage of proceeds to the Wisconsin Lions Camp for Disabled Children in Rosholt, Wisconsin. Event highlights include a contest to determine the toughest man, wrestling, burnout pits, a poker run, live music and a chopper and bike show. Camping includes primitive and full hook-up sites with hot showers on the Namekagon River.

    Honor the Fallen

    • The Rusk County Honor the Fallen Motorcycle Rides begins in the town of Ladysmith. For 2010, three rides were scheduled during May, June and September as a fundraiser for U.S. soldiers who have served in Iraq and Afghanistan. A pancake breakfast will precede a 100-mile trip with two scheduled stops each ride. Additionally, the 2010 rides will raise money for the Andrew Matus Mechanical Engineering Scholarship Fund through the sale of merchandise and a raffle during dinner after the return trip to Ladysmith.
