    • Too Broke for Sturgis is an ABATE (American Brotherhood Aimed Toward Education) of Arizona-sponsored rally that runs from July 23rd to July 25th, 2010 in Mormon Lake. The 2010 event will be the nineteenth; as of February 2010, the website is still showing details of the 2009 event. As the name suggests, the rally began as a gathering for those who couldn't afford to go to Sturgis, but evolved into an annual rally. Mormon Lake is is northern Arizona, meaning that it has a bearable summer climate. Events include a poker run and other rides, motorcycle riding games, and plenty of food and music. While the event is largely informal with no pre-registration, it is ABATE of Arizona's major fundraiser. All kinds of motorcycles are welcome but the event is considered adults-only.
