The American Legion in Las Vegas hosts an annual motorcycle event to raise funds for the American Legacy Scholarship Fund which helps send children of soldiers serving overseas to college. According to an event organizer from the American Legion in Las Vegas, this event charges an entrance fee for both riders and passengers, and the destination is Pahrump, Nevada.
The riders stop at five locations on the way back to the starting point where volunteers man tables. Each rider and passenger draws a card from a deck of cards. Once back at the starting point, each person submits his five cards and the best and worst poker hands win cash prizes.
