Las Vegas Dining

Dining in Las Vegas has evolved dramatically over the years. For a while, when travelers thought of dining in Las Vegas, the images of massive all-you-can-eat buffets came to mind. As more business conventions and casual travelers came to Vegas, the quality of dining vastly improved. There are still massive all-you-can-eat buffets, but now you can find the world's best chefs running outpost versions of their restaurants in Vegas. Some celebrity chefs have either duplicated their successful restaurants while others have created new concepts to feed the hungry masses of Las Vegas.
  1. Charlie Palmer Las Vegas

    • One of New York City's favorite chefs, Charlie Palmer, is known for his modern American cuisine at Aureole and has a popular version of that restaurant in Las Vegas. Aureole in Vegas is known for its four-story wine tower and eclectic American menu. Dishes like his famous "Olive Oil Poached Oregon Petrale Sole with Truffled Brussels Sprouts" and "Ahi Tuna and Veal Shank" have won the hearts and palates of food lovers worldwide.

Aureole in Las Vegas is located in Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino. The address is 3950 Las Vegas Boulevard.

    Bobby Flay Las Vegas

    • Bobby Flay's Mesa Grill at Caesers Palace in Las Vegas stays true to Chef Flay's true penchant for southwestern ingredients and flavors. Making his name in New York as a celebrity chef on the Food Network, he has spread his culinary know-how to Las Vegas. The Mesa Grill at Caesers Palace is famous for its "New Mexican Spice Rubbed Pork Tenderloin," "Ancho Chile Rubbed Chicken and Mango" and "Spice Crusted Tuna." Because Nevada is located in the southwest, Flay has access to numerous Mexican and southwestern ingredients that he can feature on his menu.

    Wolfgang Puck

    • Wolfgang Puck was one of the first celebrity chefs on the Las Vegas dining scene. At his Wolfgang Puck Bar and Grill at the MGM Grand, diners can expect the same star treatment diners at Spago in Los Angeles have come to expect over the years. As usual, the fare is casual, but the ingredients are of the highest quality. They may have burgers and pizza on the menu, but don't be surprised to see them topped with truffles or other expensive ingredients. The Wolfgang Puck Bar and Grill is located at the MGM Grand, 3799 Las Vegas Boulevard.

    Emeril Lagasse

    • The Creole and Cajun king of cooking is splashed all over the Vegas dining scene. Emeril Lagasse of New Orleans and a highly rated cooking show on the Food Network has spread his culinary empire to Las Vegas. His Vegas properties include the New Orleans Fish House, Table 10 and the Delmonico Steak House. The Gulf Coast Fish House is located on 3799 Las Vegas Boulevard.
