  1. Ethel M Chocolate Factory

      Located just 7 miles from the Las Vegas Strip, the Ethel M Chocolate Factory and Botanical Cactus Gardens attracts more than 700,000 guests per year. This nontraditional tourist attraction allows visitors to observe the chocolate making process from beginning to packaging. With a series of pipes, conveyor belts and tanks that hold up to 35,000 gallons of chocolate, Ethel M's produces 48 different handmade gourmet chocolates. You can satisfy your chocolate cravings with generous free samples at the end of the tour. After the chocolate tour, you may choose tour the 3-acre Botanical Cactus Garden featuring 300 varieties of plants including spotted aloe and Texas prickly pear cactus.

    Neon Museum

    • Classic neon is exhibited in two outdoor locations.

      Neon is a classic Las Vegas art medium that has been around since the 1930s. The Neon Museum was created to preserve and exhibit Las Vegas' Neon Signs for educational and cultural enrichment. With more than 150 signs in the collection, you can learn about the creator of each piece and how it fits into the development of Las Vegas' history. A visitor center is available at the restored historic La Concha Motel lobby, which is on the City of Las Vegas Historic Register. Signs can be viewed on a self-guided walking tour in the downtown gallery adjacent to the Freemont Street experience, or you can visit the Boneyard, a 3-acre site that houses more than 150 historic signs. Pieces in the Freemont Street Experience collection include the 1967 Hacienda Horse and Rider from the Hacienda Hotel, Aladdin's Lamp originally installed in 1966 at the Aladdin Hotel on the Strip and Andy Anderson, the Anderson Dairy mascot installed in 1956 at a local dairy. Signs from Caesar's Palace, Binions Horseshoe and the iconic Silver Slipper can be seen at the Boneyard.

    The King's Ransom Museum

    • See Elvis memorabilia in a multimillion dollar exhibit.

      Located in the Imperial Palace Hotel and Casino on the Strip, the King's Ransom Museum is a multimillion dollar collection of the personal effects of Elvis Presley. Items from his personal wardrobe, rings, necklaces, film costumes, stage clothing, guns, badges and a variety of law enforcement gear are part of the exhibition. Rare private photos and home movies of Elvis throughout his career are shown. Items from Graceland, including his Bible, are included in the exhibit. A highlight of the museum is Elvis' 1977 Lincoln Continental.
