Bern's Steak House has been called a "Five Star Dining Experience" by the Ledger (2009) and has been featured in numerous other newspapers and magazines for the culinary experience that Bern's provides for each of their guests. The restaurant was started by a husband and wife in the mid 1950s and has since expanded to accommodate over 350 guests. The owners of Bern's believe that every guest should be treated as an individual and that each meal must be prepared specifically for that guest. All dishes are prepared with the finest ingredients, each steak is cut to order, and cooked to perfection. Bern's also has an extensive wine collection featuring over 6,500 labels and has private booths in which to enjoy dessert. Reservations are recommended and dress code is business to semi-formal.

Charley's is a family owned steakhouse that has very stringent requirements for the steaks that they serve. According to Charley's website they only offer USDA prime and choice Angus that has been aged for several weeks. Each steak is hand-cut daily to ensure that the flavor is at its prime and all steaks are flame-broiled in a custom made pit. For the very hungry, Charley's offers a 50 ounce filet mignon with a two pound lobster tail. In 2003 Charley's was the DiRoNa Award recipient.
