Named the second-best steak in Texas by "Texas Monthly," Bohanon's mesquite-grilled, wet-aged Japanese Akaushi steak is a sight and a taste to behold. Back in its heyday, Lowake was a place where celebrities actually flew to eat a steak. The airstrip and celebrities have dried up, but the steaks at Lowake are just as good as they were back then.
