Buffett is said to enjoy the bone-in Omaha Sirloin with a Cherry Coke.
One of the oldest steakhouses in town is Cascio's, in Omaha's historic Little Italy neighborhood. Cascio's has been sizzilng up fine fare since 1946. The steaks are hand-aged, and the homemade spaghetti sauce draws rave reviews.
A great place for a fancy affair, the Old Market district's Omaha Prime calls itself a New York-style chophouse. It serves only USDA Prime meats, and is also known for its wine list, which has been noted by the national magazine The Wine Spectator.
