Sightseeing & Tours in Las Vegas

Everyone knows about the Las Vegas strip and fabulous hotels, eateries and shopping venues there. But a trip to Las Vegas can also include sightseeing tours to the Grand Canyon and Hoover Dam, both of which nearby. If you don't want to leave the city, you can enjoy a helicopter tour of the Las Vegas strip by day or night.
  1. Night Helicopter Strip Tour

    • For only about $70/person you can see the glowing lights of the Las Vegas strip shining in the night time desert sky from a helicopter. Many helicopter tours include a glass of champagne, large windows and forward facing seats. These tours generally seat six passengers and are a great way to take in the sights of Las Vegas, day or night.

Grand Canyon West Rim and Hoover Dam Tours

    • Multiple tour companies offer sightseeing tours of the west rim of the Grand Canyon from any hotel on the Las Vegas strip. Tours generally last a full day --- eight to 12 hours and include a ride in a comfortable, air-conditioned motor coach. The bus' large windows allow travelers to take in the desert scenery as it passes by. When visitors arrive at the Grand Canyon, which is about a three hour drive from Vegas, they can step out on the Skywalk and look down at the expansive canyon below. Many tours include a stop at the Hoover Dam on the way out to the canyon. Note that fees for the Skywalk begin at $30 and are generally not included in the price for the tour.

Hot Air Balloon Ride Over Vegas

    • Like the helicopter, a hot air balloon tour lets you see Las Vegas from the sky. Enjoy a quiet, hour-long voyage over the city that never sleeps at sunrise from the majestic simplicity of a hot air balloon. Bring your camera and prepare to board with about a dozen other guests. Many tours offer a complimentary glass of champagne as well as narration throughout the trip.
