The Boston Red Sox are a storied franchise that has seen the likes of baseball greats including Babe Ruth, Carl Yastrzemski, and Ted Williams don the uniform for the old town team. Families can enjoy an outing at Fenway Park, the historic home of the Red Sox that opened in 1912. Fenway is known for its left field wall, commonly referred to as the Green Monster, and manually-operated scoreboard. While catching some action, fans can enjoy ball park fare including Fenway Franks, lobster rolls, and New England clam chowder. Going to a game is not cheap, as tickets to Fenway are one of the hardest and most expensive to get in all of baseball. If getting tickets is not an option, families can enjoy a guided walking tour of Fenway. Tours are given daily and last approximately an hour.

Families can test their skills at 5WiTS, an interactive expedition. During the adventure, participants act as archeologists and must solve mysteries to figure out how to find their way through a pharaoh's burial tomb in search of a missing professor. Groups must successfully complete several challenges in order to be successful. One false move and individuals in groups "die" before accomplishing their mission.

While Boston is pedestrian friendly and the city offers many walking tours, families can enjoy a unique perspective of the city on a Boston Gliders Segway Adventure. A Segway is a two-wheeled self-balancing scooter that glides over grass, sidewalks and areas that may be inaccessible to motor vehicles. Before departing on a one, two, or three hour adventure, family members will be trained how to use the unique mode of transportation. Segway Adventures offers tour guide audio systems that allow individuals to hear about the history and culture of Boston while gliding around the city.
