Nice Places for Couples

Create unforgettable memories with your loved one by traveling to romantic locations around the world. No one can list all the places you can go since romantic, secluded locations are everywhere. People instantly think of Paris as a romantic location, but you can be more creative and search for places that aren't as well-known. These places are even more enjoyable since you and your partner can enjoy seclusion and explore a little-known place together.
  1. Hawaii

    • On the Big Island, explore Volcano National Park with your partner. Relax on black sand beaches and hike the trails. This park is home to two active volcanoes, Maunaloa, which last erupted in 1984, and Kilauea, considered one of the world's most active volcanoes. Also in the park is Nahuku where you and your partner can enjoy a walk in a 500-year-old lava cave. On the other side of the cave you and your loved one can walk through the rain forest.

    Costa Rica

    • On the Pacific side of Costa Rica you can enjoy the white sands and waters of Playa Samara, known as one of the safest and most picturesque beaches in all the country. Snorkeling and sport fishing are recommended activities, and the waters is warm, ideal for a swim with your partner. You can also visit Chora Island, an island just off the coast that is known for bird-watching. In addition, visitors to Costa Rica enjoy seeing its exotic birds.

    Northern California

    • Carmel is a romantic seaside town in coastal Northern California, near the Pebble Beach Golf Course. You and your partner can enjoy walking on the cobblestone streets while browsing antique shops and art galleries. The Big Sur coastline is a few miles to the south and a true sight to see. After a day exploring the coast with your partner, stay at the Happy Landing Inn, a bed and breakfast built in 1926. The inn is quaint and cozy, and you and your loved one will enjoy walking through its beautiful garden.

    Sydney, Australia

    • Bondi is Sydney's largest southern beach, but it is still not too far outside of the city. Lonely Planet calls Bondi Beach "one of the world's great beaches." Treat your partner to a scuba diving adventure along Gordon's Bay Underwater Nature Trail, where you will see kelp forests, reefs and sand flats. After a day in the sea, you can stay at the four-star Swiss Grand Hotel and enjoy the nightlife with your loved one at one of the area's variety of bars and restaurants. Take a romantic stroll along the beach and end up at Coogee Beach, which is not as big as Bondi Beach but is still a favorite among tourists.
