Things to Do in the Redwood National Park

Home to the world's tallest trees, Redwood National Park welcomes hundreds of thousands of visitors each year. In addition to its natural beauty and famous 500- to 700-year-old trees, the park provides several activity options for visitors. Visitors can choose to travel the park by foot or vehicle, land or sea and with a knowledgeable tour guide or alone.
  1. Horseback Riding

Western Spirit Cycling offers a five-day family bike tour through the park. The trip includes a guided bike ride through the Redwood Forest and ample time for strolling, hiking, swimming and camping. The trip provides easier rides for children and adults and then provides age-appropriate activities for children while the adults embark on longer, more difficult routes. The tour also includes a ride to the California coast for a view of the Pacific Ocean. Fees for this trip include experienced guides, meals, park entry fees, support vehicles and shuttles. Participants must bring or rent bikes and camping gear.
