Shoreline's tour leaves from the Navy Pier Ogden Slip and travels through all three branches of the Chicago River. Your tour guide will share stories about the historical significance of famous buildings like the Tribune Tower, Marina City, the Wrigley Building and Willis Tower. This tour runs from spring through fall and prices, as of April 2010, are $24 to $30 for adults, $11 to $14 for kids, and $20 to $26 for seniors.
Shoreline Sightseeing's Skyline Lake Tour is a half-hour long Lake Michigan cruise that feature's Chicago's lakefront sights. Departing from Navy Pier, your tour guide will tell you about the history of the Windy City, as you take in the beauty of Chicago's remarkable skyline. You can further enjoy the view with a cold drink from the onboard cash bar. The Skyline cruises run from April to mid October and the prices, as of April 2010, are as follows: $14 to $17 for adults, $6 to $8 for kids, and $13 to $15 for senior citizens.
Every Wednesday and Saturday from Memorial Day to Labor Day, Shoreline Sightseeing offers cruises that end with an unmatchable view of Navy Pier's fireworks. Shoreline also offers these boat tours on holidays and various special events. The Lake Fireworks Cruise leaves from Navy Pier's west deck and lasts for 45 to 60 minutes. As of May 2010, tours on Wednesdays cost $24 for adults, $12 for children and $22 for senior citizens; on Saturdays it costs $26 for adults, $12 for children and $22 for seniors.
