There is an adults-only tour called the Underworld Tour that focuses on the prostitution and opium rings that were open during the 19th century.

    Market Ghost Tours

    • The Market Ghost Tour is a nightly walking tour of the Pike Place Market designed to keep the ghost stories of the market alive. Created by Mercedes Yaeger, the tour was ranked the No. 2 Ghost Tour in the country by Trip Advisor in 2009. Each tour takes visitors to various locations in the market, with your guide giving details about ghosts and hauntings. The tour begins near the Post Alley Gum Wall. Tours are available Wednesday through Saturday from May through September.
