All-Inclusive Tours in Washington DC

Year in and year out, Washington, D.C., is one of the most popular tourist destinations in the United States. The city is home to the White House, the National Archives, the Capitol building, Arlington National Cemetery and museums and memorials dedicated to many interests. Although there is much to see, it can be challenging for first-time visitors to plan and structure trips on their own.

    • Road Scholar is a tour organization offering all-inclusive trips around the world. Its handful of trips to Washington, D.C., include "Discover Washington, D.C: Our Nation's Capital" and "Spies, Lies and Intelligence: The Shadowy World of International Espionage."

      "Discover Washington, D.C: Our Nation's Capital" is a five-night, six-day trip that includes meetings with members of Congress, seminars with "Washington insiders," explorations of monuments and other sites, seminars and visits to headquarters of international organizations. Meals and group transportation are provided.

      "Spies, Lies and Intelligence: The Shadowy World of International Espionage" is a three-night, four-day tour focused on the history of American---and international---spies and espionage. The package includes a citywide spy tour, expert discussions on espionage fact and fiction and visits to the International Spy Museum and the National Security Agency's National Cryptologic Museum.     • New Century Tours arranges student tours of Washington, D.C. Based in nearby Annapolis, Maryland, the company takes care of transportation, lodging and meal plans.

      Tours range from two to four days. The longest tour, four days and three nights, includes trips to the Smithsonian, Arlington National Cemetery and Capitol Hill, as well as many monuments and museums.
