Jewels of France is an eight-day northern France round-trip tour from Paris, France. Activities begin in Paris on Friday when travelers meet fellow travelers and tour director. With the first full day in Paris, travelers explore city attractions, including Notre Dame Cathedral, the Eiffel Tower and the Louvre, among other sites.
Travelers board a deluxe air-conditioned motor coach bound for Deauville, France, with stops in Giverny (home of painter Claude Monet), Rouen and Honfleur. Day five includes a morning visit to the legendary World War II beaches of Normandy, finishing the day in the island town of Mont S. Michel. On day six, motor to St. Malo and Rennes before stopping in Tours, which is known for beautiful gardens, for two evenings. Day eight involves a trip from Tours to Orleans, the location of the Joan of Arc statue, and on to Charles, France, arriving in Paris overnight. The following morning, travelers say goodbye to Paris and return home.
