No amusement park is complete without a roller coaster. Six Flags Over Texas, which is located in Arlington, features several interesting versions of this popular ride.
The company describes American Adventures, located in the greater Atlanta area, as "a kid's Birthday Party and Attraction paradise." While family events are booked there, the park also features rides, seasonal festivities and special events.
Six Flags' Splashwater Kingdom, a water park within the larger Kentucky Kingdom, is one of about a dozen such watery attractions offered by the company. These feature many wet rides as well as cabana rentals.
Six Flags operates two animal parks. There a person can swim with the dolphins and interact with other exotic animals.
During the warmer months in particular, Six Flags offers a plethora of rides for fun and amusement. Several of the franchises offer special holiday activities from late November through early January.
