How Do I Mail Packages to Disney World?

Sending packages to Walt Disney World can be confusing, whether you are sending a package to a current guest, are a current guest who is trying to get a grocery or other delivery to your room or are a current guest who is trying to send souvenirs back to the room from a Disney theme park. Each situation requires a different approach.
  1. Sending Packages to a Disney World Resort Guest

    • Find out the resort where the guest is staying. You will have to call the person directly to find this out, as Disney will not divulge this information to you, so it is best to make sure you have this information ahead of time just in case you can't get in contact with the guest on Disney property. Look up the address of the resort where the guest is staying, at the Disney website. Because the guest will not know the room number until check-in, you will have to call the guest and get the room number. If you can't contact the person or are sending a surprise gift, send the package in care of the resort. The guest's name on a package that is sent to the correct resort should be enough information for Disney staff members to get the package to the guest safely. Pack the item well, especially if it is breakable, if you are the one packing the item. Write the name of the guest (and identify the person as a guest) and address of the resort clearly, to avoid any misunderstandings.

Sending an Outside Package to Your Room

    • Get the address of your resort off of the official confirmation papers you received from Disney after your final payment. If you haven't checked in yet and don't have your room number, you may have to ask the business to send the package in care of the resort where you are staying. Your name should be enough information for Disney staff members to get the package to you safely. If you are having a grocery delivery or other outside delivery from a local business, your items will likely be handled gently by the company's delivery team but should be packed well in case of any mishaps. Make sure the company who is sending the package to you has your name, resort name and room number down correctly. If you are not in your room at the time of delivery, a Disney staffer will leave your package in your room for you.

Sending an Inside Package to Your Room

    • Disney has perfected this process so that resort guests can freely buy souvenirs without worrying about transporting them around the park all day. When you purchase an item at a Disney park gift shop, you can simply request that it be sent to your room. Your Key to the World (KTTW) card will have all of your information available, if you use it to pay for your purchase. If you choose not to use your KTTW card to pay for your purchase, you may have to give the cashier your name and room information. Your packages will be waiting for you in your room when you return.
