How to enjoy a day at BUSCH GARDENS with your grandchildren

I recently took my grandchildren to Busch Gardens in Tampa, Fl. We had a wonderful time. I think pre-planning makes the trip more fun for everyone.

I suggest you buy your tickets on the interenet website before you arrive at the park. Also, pay the extra charge to park in VIP it's worth it. Put waterproof sunscreen on the kids before they get in the car and let it dry. Buy the Parks Food Plan for part of the group, there is lots to share. Start in the most popular part of the park first.

Do the Bird Gardens and the Bird Garden Theater during the hot part of the day , its cool and buy the nectar for the birds. I recommend eating inside the larger restaurants, its cool and there is lots of seating. When you are at the back of the park, remember the train goes around the park, its fun and a big rest for the weary. {grandma} I suggest keep the older kids behind you so they can help watch the younger ones and the older ones don't get to far ahead or go a different direction than you want.

We loved the Rhino Rally. Do not miss it. Midday do the flume rides, you'll cool off, and while you are wet go to Land of the Dragons, the big and little kids will love this and you can sit and watch. Do not miss Jungala.

Go online to view the ride guideline. If you have children at several different ages and heights, you need to know who can't ride and plan rides or activities next to each other so you can entertain all ages.
