Travel east from Dallas on highway 183, and exit on Highway 26, which used to be Grapevine Highway. Even though it is on Grapevine Highway, it is in the city of North Richland Hills. Head north and turn left into the park at the traffic light just passed Tarrant Community College.
Bring $19.99 per person above 48 inches and $15.99 for anyone under 48 inches. If the little ones are 2 and under, they are free. Even though you may not be getting in the water, you will have to pay to enter the park. You can also purchase your tickets online and not have to wait in the ticket line.
Buy a season pass if you plan on visiting more than 3 times during their 4 months of being open. NRH20 offers special days where season pass holders can enter early, and they offer discounts on food and beverages. The early you buy the pass, the better price you get.
Tote along your ice chest. NRH2O allows patrons to bring in coolers with food and drinks. No alcohol or glass containers are allowed. Bring lunch, snacks and lots of water as swimmers get hungry and the heat can dehydrate you rather quickly.
Arrive early to the park to get tickets, a spot in the shade and so that you get to ride the slides with minimal lines. The park provides several shaded areas with beach chairs located around the park.
Catch wave in the NRH2O Ocean. The large 4 foot pool turns into an ocean of fun when the wave machine goes on to provide large waves for guests to roll with on their tubes or just jump around in.
Relax on the Endless River where you get a tube or float around in the water if the slides lines get long.
