Boys will be fascinated and amazed to visit the Bronx Zoo, home to animals such as the Chinese alligators, snow leopards, gorillas and 40 other species, states ny.com. The zoo provides an educational experience for young boys to explore and visit animals that would be otherwise inaccessible to them. The Wollman Rink is in the heart of Central Park. Depending on the season, boys can either rent ice skates or inline skates and practice their skills. During the winter there is a large ice rink and in the summer, inline skates can be rented to explore the whole Central Park and visit some of the other events throughout the area. Wollman Rink also hosts parties so there are always events taking place for boys to take part in and meet other boys their age.

The Djoniba Dance and Drum Center offers a multitude of activities for 10-year-old boys to explore their creative music side. Boys can decide whether to take drum classes and explore African drumming techniques or check out the martial arts and hip hop classes. Boys don´t need to have any previous experience to take part. They will be with other children their age and through the process of learning will develop friendships with others around them.
