• Boulders Restaurant, part of the greater Boulder Beach Lodge, in Sea Point offers breakfast from 8-11:15 a.m. Mon-Thurs. The menu is progressive with many classic options reinterpreted. Try the ciabatta french toast spiked with chilies and served with bacon and a sweet tomato compote. Also on the menu is a grilled croissant filled with Chevins goat cheese, gypsy ham, tomato and wild rocket. For an Asian fusion inspired dish, there are Asian wok fried eggs accompanied by bean sprouts and sweet Indonesian soy sauce over jasmine rice. Traditional selections, such as muesli are available for quieter palates. All breakfasts are served with tea, coffee or juice along with toast and preserves. A contemporary, upscale design approach with rustic touches set the mood for this brasserie.

• Housed in Winchester Mansions, Harvey's at the Mansions serves up a world class breakfast in a bistro setting with terrace and courtyard seating overlooking the sea. • Reminiscent of a classic, neighborhood pub, Cafe Manhattan has been serving all-day breakfasts since 1994. The restaurant opens at 930 and the kitchen stays open until 12 a.m. or 1 a.m depending on the night. Hipsters and club goers tend to crowd the place after dark and an energetic, happy vibe lingers during the day. The Manhattan Morning breakfast consists of a Salmon Benedict made with Norwegian salmon on homemade bread topped off with hollandaise.
