What languages are closest to Norwegian?

Norwegian has two written forms: *Bokmål* and *Nynorsk*. It is closely related to Swedish and Danish and mutually intelligible to some degree with Swedish, particularly spoken Swedish. These three languages are often considered to be one, known as Scandinavian, or North Germanic.
