The national anthem of Pakistan, Qaumi Tarana, consists of 110 words in total. All of these words are in the Urdu language. Urdu is the national language of Pakistan and is widely spoken throughout the country. The national anthem was originally written in Persian by Hafeez Jullundhri and was later translated into Urdu by Agha Shorish Kashmiri. It was officially adopted as the national anthem of Pakistan in 1947.
