Instructions

    • 1

Dig a hole in the ground where you would like the watermaker to be. Ideally, the hole should be 2 foot wide by 2 foot deep.

    • 2

Place the container inside the hole, holding in place using vegetation or stones. It is important that the container is held securely to ensure the container does not spill the water.

    • 3

Cover the hole in plastic sheeting. The plastic should completely cover the hole, and have around 4 inches extra.

    • 4

Place stones around the plastic sheeting to hold it in place. Ensure the stones do not cover the hole.

    • 5

Place a medium-sized stone on the center of the plastic. This should create a dip in the center of the sheeting. The water will drip off this dip, so ensure it is over the container.
